How It Works

I will be happy to schedule your shopping around these dates.

The Bag Lady is here to help you. We have set up a process that makes ordering and delivering your groceries simple.

  1. Place your order using our convenient online form.
  2. The Bag Lady shops for you.
  3. The Bag Lady delivers to your home, office, or wherever on the day and time you request.
  4. Payments are due upon receipt of groceries via cash, check or credit card.
When can I receive deliveries?

Monday – Friday: 8:00 am to 7:00 pm Saturday: By appointment only. Please call or text 941-915-7828 for availability.

Shopper availability will be confirmed upon receipt of order.

Can I use coupons?

We can use your coupons, however we need to pick them up prior to shopping. There is a $5 additional charge for this.

How specific do I have to be on my grocery list?

To be sure that we get your order correct and you are 100% satisfied, please be as specific as you can. If you do not have a brand preference, we will choose the best value & quality item for you.

Will you substitute items that might not be available?

Yes, unless you specify otherwise. We will choose a similar quality and size item for you. If there is any question while shopping, we will contact you for confirmation.

How far in advance do I need to order?

Orders placed by 7 pm can be available for delivery the next day. We will confirm with you via e-mail if it is not possible to meet your deadline. Same day delivery may be available depending on our schedule. These orders must be phoned in to confirm.

How do I pay for my order?

We currently accept cash, checks and credit cards due upon receipt of groceries. Please note, there is a $35 fee for any returned checks. There is a 5% surcharge for all credit card purchases.

What if I receive an incorrect item on my order?

You will receive the store receipt along with your grocery order, so you are able to make returns or exchanges. If the mistake is ours, we will return or exchange the product for you, or give you a credit on that or a future order.

Does The Bag Lady accept tips?

Gratuities are optional and at your discretion.
